Ya never know what you’ll find on YouTube. Depeche Mode is most likely my all time favorite band. I first saw them on MTV with Strangelove. At the time I tried to get myself to listen to new bands like Echo & the Bunnymen, The Cure, New Order, Depeche Mode and some others I can’t even remember. Depeche Mode, New Order and the Cure are still favorites with Depeche Mode #1 and New Order #2 and the rest way back in the distance.
Here is a video of them playing waaaaaay back in 1983, a long time before I discovered them. It is Everything Counts. It’s a great song and hard to believe they were that good that long ago and still sound pretty much the same. Enjoy!
