Has anyone been paying attention to Palin lately? See the clip from an interview with Katie Couric below. She sounds like she could give Miss South America from the teen USA pagent a run for the money. Palin belongs in a beauty pagent and has no business in any national leadership position. It makes one wonder how John McCain the “maverick” could choose someone so seemingly clueless about the US and the world. Anyone find it interesting that a war monger like McCain would choose a slogan for him campaign like Reform*Prosperity*Peace? Hopefully the American public will demand more than a pretty smile and some lipstick from the office of the vice president. The Vice Presidential debates are going to be like the Blue Collar Comedy tour or a classic episode of SNL.
Sarah Palin on the bailout:
“But ultimately what the bailout does is help those who are concerned about the health care reform that is needed to help shore up our economomy. um, uh…it’s got to be about job creation too, shoring up our economy and putting it back on the right track so healthcare reform and reducing taxes and reigning in spending has got to accompany tax reductions and tax relief for Americans and trade and we’ve got to see trade as opportunity not as competitive scary thing but one in five jobs being created in the trade sector today we’ve got to look at that as more opportunity all those things under the umbrella of job creation, the bailout is a part of that.”
WTF is she talking about?
In case you missed miss South Carolina, here is a video where she shows why she is in a beauty pagent and not in politics.
